October 11 – October 25, 2015
Our Journey to Egypt will be led by Crotalo Sesamo, the World Ambassador from Damanhur, which is the underground Temple City in Italy, known as the 8th Wonder of the Modern World. He is a master teacher of many courses, including Ancient Civilizations, Astral Travel, and Meditation Techniques, as well as being an effective Healer.
Crotalo has taken many clients through Egypt and experienced transformational shifts both personally and with his groups. This is because he understands how to unlock the codes of sacred information that is stored in the Temples and in the Pyramids. If you would like the opportunity to experience a truly valuable spiritual awakening, this is the pilgrimage for you.
Aside from visiting all the important Temples and Pyramids, we will go to the museums, both in Cairo and in Luxor. One of the most enticing parts of the trip is that we will spend our days traveling down the River Nile on a private yacht. The lands along the Nile are rich with plant and bird life, rural farmers work the land by hand and it is absolutely lovely to travel along these shores. With our yacht, we will be able to pull into little islands and visit places that few people ever see.
Highlights of the Journey Include:
- A private visit to the Sphinx at Dawn
- A morning river trip to the Temple of Isis; private ceremony within.
- Private visit to Abu Sir & Abu Ghurab
- Entrance to the Queen’s Chamber inside the Great Pyramid and
- Private time: Meditation, led by Crotalo inside the King’s Chamber of the Great Pyramid
Also Included: Sacred Sites & Secret Science at:
Giza Pyramids / Sehkmet / Sakkara / Dahshour / Abu Sir / Abu Ghurab / Egyptian Museum / Luxor Temple / Isis Temple / Karnak Temple / Aswan / Luxor / King Tut Treasures / Edfu / Kom Ombo / Dendarah / Abydos
Oct 11th – 25th, 2015
Day 1, Sun, Oct 11th – Arrive Cairo:
Arrive at Cairo Airport according to your flight time, where you will be met by our Tour Managers. They will assist you through customs and immigration before transferring you to our luxury accommodations at the Mena House hotel, located right next to the Pyramids on the Giza Plateau. (Welcome Dinner/Gathering)
Day 2, Mon, Oct 12th- Sphinx / Giza Plateau:
Today, at dawn, we start our tour with a special private and exclusive visit to The Great Sphinx when no body else is there except our group. Listening in awe, as we hear the entire city being called to prayer, we will spend time at the ancient Valley Temple of Chephren on the Giza Plateau and we will pay particular attention to the Sphinx. Our Egyptian guide, who is an encyclopedia of spiritual Egyptology, will give us detailed examinations of various theories surrounding these amazing structures. Crotalo will provide the meditations and the esoteric teachings.
Back to our hotel for hot breakfast buffet.
Camel or horse ride in the afternoon, as we investigate particular alignments that coincide with the stars and the energy lines surrounding our Earth.
Day 3, Tus, Oct 13th – Abu Sir and Abu Ghurab:
Following breakfast, we will enjoy a unique private visit to Abu Sir. It has been called the site of the forgotten Kings of the 5th Dynasty. Despite the size of their monuments, these kings do not have the fame of their predecessors from the 4th Dynasty. The site was closed for many years to visitors, but is now open to the public. The Pyramids of Abu Sir originally consisted of fourteen pyramids from the 5th Dynasty. Only four are still standing. Of the four, the first one that you will encounter as you come from the main Saqqara complex, is the Pyramid of Neferefre. This pyramid was never finished and is in very poor condition. However, there were some remarkable finds in the pyramid, including a royal group of statues of the Old Kingdom, and several portraits of another king, possibly of Neferefre himself. Its original name was “Divine are the Ba-souls of Neferefre”.
In addition to pyramids, there are also various tombs in the necropolis, as well as the Sun Temples of the 5th Dynasty Kings located just to the north at Abu Ghurob. Back to hotel for lunch.
Afternoon free to explore the amazing Mena House Hotel, or you may return to the Pyramids and the Giza Plateau on your own (we are only steps away.) Crotalo may schedule a session to prepare us for our next events.
Day 4, Wed, Oct 14th- Fly to Aswan / Afandina / Elephantine Island / Nubian Market:
Following breakfast we have a short flight to Aswan, arrive and check into our beautiful private Yacht Afandina. Aswan is the mythical origin of the Nile River and the home of Nubian kings and queens during the later dynasties of Egypt.
We will enjoy a boat ride to visit Elephantine Island and walk through the layers of time that archaeological explorations have unveiled. Atop the island we gather at the temple of Khnum for an important initiation and affirmation. Aswan City is considered to be everyone’s favorite Egyptian city. Beautiful and peaceful, it is called the “Pearl of Egypt”. Visit the colorful Nubian Market of Aswan. This is a great place to buy herbs, curries, spices, indigo, baskets and Galabayas (the long robes), and other beautiful handmade clothing worn in Egypt. We will help you get to the shops and negotiate the prices that you want.
(Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner)
Day 5, Thur Oct 15th : Philae temple / Unfinished Obelisk / Felucca ride:
We will travel by the light of the Morning Star on the River Nile to the Temple of Isis. During our private sunrise ritual we return to the source of all: the Great Mother Isis and receive the blessings of healing that she offers within her beautiful island temple at Philae. We will make a procession into the Inner Holy of Holies in the predawn light and celebrate our connection with Isis. Her presence is palpable in this inner sanctum and there we will conduct our sacred ceremony. We will experience Healing, Expansion and Connection to all parts of our Earth and the Cosmos.
Later in the day, we will visit the quarry where the massive obelisks, which are still in the Temples, were mined and cut.The unfinished Obelisk is one of the most famous stones left behind in the quarry there. Quarrymen apparently abandoned the obelisk when fractures appeared in its sides. However, the stone, which is still However, the stone, which is still attached to bedrock, gives important clues as to how the ancients quarried granite. Much of the red granite used for ancient temples came from quarries in the Aswan area (500 miles south of Cairo). The Unfinished Obelisk still lies where a crack was discovered as it was being hewn from the rock. Possibly intended as a companion to the Lateran Obelisk, originally at Karnak, now in Rome, it would have measured 120-feet and weighed over 1150 tons when complete. It is truly amazing to see how our ancient ancestors maneuvered massive rocks of this size.
At Sunset we will enjoy a felucca sail ride on the River Nile around The Old Cataract area and visit a Nubian village, enjoying the most kind and happy Nubian people. It is possible to purchase some of their handcrafts from them at their little village on the shores of the Nile.
(Breakfast, Lunch, dinner)
Day 6, – Fri, Oct 16th – Sailing to Kom Ombo:
Around mid morning we sail down the Nile River, passing the most pastoral scenes to Kom Ombo. There, we visit the only dual temple in Egypt. This dramatic temple poised between the edge of the river and the encroaching desert sand was dedicated to two gods – Sobek the crocodile god of strength, fortitude, fertility and rebirth, and Horus the hawk-headed son of Isis and Osiris. We will dock our dahabeya Afandina at an island near Kom Ombo for the night.
(Breakfast, lunch, and dinner)
Day 7, Sat, Oct 17th – Sail to Edfu / Temple of Horus:
All day sailing… We will gather on deck for meditations, teachings and to share experiences as we sail to Edfu, where we will have an afternoon visit to the Temple of Horus, one of the most beautifully preserved in Egypt. Here, we follow the pattern of the hero’s quest as we learn how Horus and his followers (the Shemsu Hor) conquered chaos, and we see the sacred marriage of the king and queen as the embodiment of Horus and the Goddess Hathor. We spend the night near Edfu on our Dahabeya. The side chambers of the temple at Edfu show the complexity of the rites that include a healing chamber, a perfumery, and singer’s rooms. One chamber, called the House of Life, stored all of the sacred texts used in seasonal and daily rituals…Overnight Edfu
(Breakfast, lunch and dinner)
Day 8, Sun, Oct 18th – Sail to Esna:
Relaxing day of sailing on the magical Nile. We sail toward Esna, and delight in watching the timeless beauty along the Nile. We will meet on deck or in our lovely living room for valuable teachings that Crotalo offers, providing us with tools to help us accomplish the shifts needed to access higher levels to understand our spiritual existence, our purpose and our effect on other beings. We will enjoy passing through the Esna Locks. Overnight Afandina.
(Breakfast, lunch and dinner)
Day 9, Mon, Oct 19th – Esna / Luxor / Karnak Temple:
We sail this morning to Luxor City, the ancient city of Thebes that was the capital of Egypt during the New Kingdom. Upon arrival in the afternoon, we visit Karnak, one of the largest temple complexes in the world. Karnak recalls us to the powerful acts of creation, of beginning anew, and of building on the Divine plan. It has been home for more than 3,500 years to the living statue of the lioness goddess, Sekhmet. This Goddess will instigate one of our mystery school’s rites of passage. In the evening we will visit Luxor temple which is called the ‘Temple of Man.’ Under the clear night sky of beautiful Luxor, this will be an entrancing, magical time.
Evening around at Luxor Market, Radwan Jewelry shop, where you will find gold and silver replicas of your favorite Neters, decorated with lapis, and other valuable jewels. We can also explore more of Luxor at night.
(Breakfast, lunch and dinner)
Day 10, Sun, Oct 20th – Dendarah / Abydos Temples:
In the early morning we go to visit the exquisite Temple of Dendera, dedicated to Hathor, the goddess of abundance, love and joy. The temple is built with a zodiacal ceiling that recalls the origins of Egypt. On the rooftop where Hathor priests and priestesses gathered for their celebrations thousands of years ago, we reconnect to our destinies. We continue to drive through the country side of Upper Egypt to visit Abydos the temple of Osiris and “Flower of Life.” Abydos has been a pilgrimage place throughout history and no trip is complete without visiting Abydos. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
Day 11, Mon, Oct 21st – West Bank / Hatshepsut / Valley of the Kings / Luxor Museum
Early morning and we will make a sunrise pilgrimage to Deir el Bahari, the funerary temple of the female pharaoh Hatshepsut. We will also visit the Necropolis of Thebes on the West Bank of the Nile. The West Bank holds the tombs of the pharaohs that are inscribed with sacred transformative texts, including the Book of Knowing Light and Dark, the Book of What is in the Underworld, the Book of Caverns, and The Naming and Taming the Hours of the Night. Here are the important tombs of Tutankhamun, Ramses III and VII, Seti I, Thutmosis III, and many others and the Colossi of Memnon.
We continue on to visit the unique Luxor Museum. Most of the artifacts displayed at the Luxor Museum were discovered in the area of ancient Thebes (modern Luxor). Highlights of the collection include masterpieces of pharaonic art as well as examples of everyday objects. Several galleries are devoted to a spectacular group of statues found in 1989 hidden beneath the floor of the Luxor Temple (a very sacred place); there is also a newly-built annex dedicated to Egypt’s Golden Age (the New Kingdom, ca. 1550-1070 BC), which includes two royal mummies and a short film on ancient papyrus and vase-making. Labels are in Arabic and English.
Free in the late afternoon to explore more of the City of Luxor.
(Breakfast, lunch and dinner)
Day 12, Tus , Oct 22nd – Luxor / Cairo / Egyptian museum / Sound & light Show:
In the morning we drive to Luxor airport to get on our short flight to Cairo, & upon arrival we visit the Cairo Museum. Our world-renowned Egyptologist guides us through this famous museum with a collection of over 200,000 ancient Egyptian artifacts, dating back`to 4,000 BC. Visiting the museum is an opportunity to see the statues and artifacts that originally were located in the temples. All of this paints a fuller picture of the ancient civilization. At the museum, you will experience first-hand, the different periods of ancient Egypt and the individual artistic and architectural styles of each period. One of the highlights of this museum is the visit to the golden treasures of Tut-Ank-Amon. There will be time to explore the museum on your own.
Later in the day, check into the Mena House Hotel. In the evening enjoy the Sound & Light show of The Sphinx from The Sphinx Guesthouse.
Day 13, Wed , Oct 23rd – Sakkara / Dahshour:
Today, we will have a fascinating visit to Sakkara to view the dozens of Old Kingdom pyramids that rise on the West Bank near ancient Memphis. In about 2630 B.C, Imhotep, architect to King Djoser (Dynasty III), masterminded the Step Pyramid at Sakkara. (Some say this could have been Moses.) The world’s oldest freestanding stone structure, this pyramid consists of six tiers atop a mastaba, or low, oblong tomb, faced with cut stone. There are innumerable healing sound temples in this area, which we will visit.
We will also go to the Serpaiuomin Sakkara which just opened recently, as it was closed for over 15 years. A serapeum is a temple or other religious institution dedicated to the God Serapis, who combined aspects of Osiris and Apis, the Bull in a humanized form. There were several such religious centers throughout the Ancient World.
Following lunch, around midday we will drive to Dahshur, the second major Pyramid field of the Memphis necropolis after Saqqara. Dahshur is some 20 Km (12.5 miles) south of Cairo. There were originally 11 pyramids at Dahshur, only the two Old Kingdom ones, the incredibly striking Bent and Red Pyramid, remain intact, as well as three Middle Kingdom pyramid complexes.
Pharaoh Sneferu (2613-2589 BC), father of Khufu and founder of the 4th dynasty, built Egypt’s first true Pyramid here, the Red Pyramid, as well as an earlier version, the Bent Pyramid. We are able to enter into the Red Pyramid and there we will tone and feel the most amazing sounds because of the architecture inside of the place. It seems that this pyramid was designed for sound healing and we will definitely experience it there.
Day 14, Thur Oct 24th – Great Pyramid / Farewell Dinner / Closing Circle:
Today, we have a special private visit into the Great Pyramid, visiting the underground room & the Queen’s Chamber room and culminating with a profound initiation in the King’s chamber. Here, we will unite our present life with the story of those who have come before us and those who will come after, as we embrace the transformation that we have experienced throughout all the Temples and Pyramids of Egypt.
The group will meet in the late afternoon for our Closing Circle Farewell Dinner to share our Egyptian experience.
(Breakfast and farewell dinner)
