Healing Earth, Sedona, Arizona

Snowy Sedona.

Snowy Sedona.

We have chosen Sedona as the place to go because the high vibrational frequency there leaves you feeling uplifted and connected to a higher source of wisdom. We want to find clarity of purpose, strength, and love, all viewed through a fresh lens of gratitude.

Since ancient times, people have come to Sedona, seeking to receive the powerful healing forces of Mother Earth. Sedona is full of vortices that enhance the electromagnetic power of the Earth, conducting a healing energy, that helps us to create strength and peace for the soul.

Creating ceremonies together and with nature hikes, we will honor the deep places within ourselves that guide us toward our own inner light.

After we have all been checked in, we plan to go into the town of Sedona for dinner (on our own) at one of the many great restaurants. From there, we have been invited to the cozy home of Ani Williams, for an evening of enchantment. Ani has lived in Sedona for more than 30 years, often joining with the native people in ceremony. She has learned from them songs and stories of the Red Earth, Sedona’s creation story of First Woman, who sang all living forms into being. She will teach us the songs and chants with harp, drum and our voices, from the Native American traditions of the region. She will also share music to dream on from the traditions of Mary Magdalene and Isis, women who knew the power of sacred sound and the voice as a creative tool. We will sit around the Solstice fire, enjoying tea and cookies in a room filled with medicine drums, gong, and good medicine.

As a professional musician and sound therapist, Ani will be able to teach us how to use our voices to bring our energy into a harmonizing vibration with nature. This is a gift that we can take home and use over again many times for integration, peace and happiness. You will not need to know how to sing or have any musical experience to benefit from our time with Ani. Please click here to visit her website.

DAY 2:
We will start with breakfast at the Enchantment Resort, which is included with our adventure. Then we will prepare for a day out in nature. Accompanied by Ani, we will take a pilgrimage into the sacred landscape of Sedona to two of the power places in the red earth temple. We will practice deep listening, as First Woman of the Yavapai Apache did, and receive a message from the earth. We will join our voices with sacred intention as an offering to the earth and a call to receive a spiritual gift. We will honor the 5 elements and their alchemical cleansing and balancing within us. During lunch time, in between our adventures, we will find a spot to dine on healthy food around the Sedona area. Lunch will be on our own.

We leave you with this Hopi Poem:

CLIFFS:
Across I stand and see
Faces of mesa cliffs
Each face has its own song
They sing in turn
*Loloma they sing
*Qua-qua they sing
All is one.

*Loloma means good
*Qua-qua means thank you
