"When scientists talk about whales singing songs, they're not talking about mere noise. They're talking about intricate, stylized compositions - some longer than symphonic movements - performed in medleys that can last up to 22 hours ... yet each whale in an ocean wide population always sings the same song as the others."
     ~ Newsweek Magazine, Science

Whales are the most amazing beings! Wouldn't it be great if you could sit on the beach and listen to them? That is what we are going to do in Todos Santos. We will be at one of the most beautiful beaches in the world, tuning in with the whales who come there because they have chosen that place to birth and nurse their babies in the winter. Happy Beings that they are, they will be playing in the surf as we sit on the beach, listening to their messages. Their messages are full of love and hope and they are longing to connect with us. Please watch the video at the end of our Itinerary, on this page, so you can see their intention to be with us.

This year brings a new energy and the whales have important messages for us to consider. They are the keepers of the history of all that has happened on Earth and also, many believe that they somehow arrange Peace here on our Earth, the best that they can. So, what do they have to say? Lee Cook, who will be accompanying us, is able to hear information from other dimensions and she will interpret the whales' messages for us, on the beach during the warm sunny days and under the sparkling stars at night. We invite you to come with us to listen to these songs: first hand, hear the messages, feel the love, and have your questions answered about what the year 2013 is bringing.

DAY 1:
We will fly into Cabo San Jose airport (SJD) near Cabo San Lucas and be driven up to Todos Santos. (Please see Getting There, above.) After checking into our boutique hotel (since there are no chain hotels in the town) we will explore the thriving Pueblo Majico of Todos Santos. Next, we will go out to to greet the immense Pacific Ocean, walk the beautiful white sand beach, run in freedom of all the space, and have our first ceremony. We will say goodnight to the setting sun as it sets over the Pacific Ocean and honor the great beings, whales, sea turtles and all creatures living there. The New Moon will be blessing our travels and we will be able to see the Milky Way, which is the Path of our Ancestors, and all the constellations sparkling in the sky. Sitting on the soft sand, listening to the breaking waves, we will attune with the radiant light of the stars. We will see with clarity and no light pollution, an amazing display in the sky on a beautiful desert night. Later we will return to the little town for dinner at our choice of amazing venues, most of which serve delicious organic produce.

Look at the stars! Look up at the skies!
Oh look at the fire-folk sitting in the air!
The bright boroughs, the circle citadels there!
     ~ Gerard Manley Hopkins

DAY 2:
The next morning, after a leisurely breakfast, we will go to Las Palmas, a beautiful sandy beach for a morning meditation circle and ceremony. During this ceremony we will honor the waters of the world and offer our healing energies. With a spring fed lagoon and stream that leads into the ocean, this is a nesting ground for numerous varieties of birds. We will take our time exploring this lovely area. For lunch, we will go back, the short distance to Todos Santos. Afterwards, we will explore the art galleries, and cultural history of this quaint town. Later that afternoon we will go to a different beach where we can watch the whales, enjoying the vast expanse of white sand and the amazing sunsets that reach across the horizon to Asia. We will have dinner in town at one of the many restaurants, perhaps enjoying some of the local seafood.

DAY 3:
After breakfast the next morning, we will go to Cerritos Beach. This is a great beach for swimming and beach combing. Today, you will receive a gift from us, of either a free soothing massage on the beach, lulled by the sound of the waves, or a fun a surfing lesson, complete with wetsuit, board and a guarantee of riding a wave (and our applause from shore!) After a fun day at the beach, we will go back to Todos Santos for a while in the afternoon to lunch, relax and shop. Later we will go to the beach that the whales love, gathering in a circle for ceremony to meditate and commune with them. Lee will help us to hear their messages. Then we will go back to town for another delicious dinner, featuring fresh, local produce.

“Whales are singers, composers and poets, whose songs travel across entire oceans. Whales sing in an emotional language, older than speech, that deeply resonates with us.”

DAY 4:
After another great breakfast, our adventurous spirits will have the morning option of going back to Cerritos beach, for more swimming, surfing and massage, or staying in town to explore the cultural center, church, galleries and artisans’ shops. Perhaps the Mercado, featuring artisans from throughout Mexico will be happening on the streets. The afternoon will be on your own to relax or explore the town and we will be treated to an early dinner, maybe some delicious Mexican food. Afterwards, we will go back to the whale beach. There, we will meet with a local guide who has ancient star knowledge and around a fire, he will share his stories of the Mayan constellations. We will close with a ceremony on the beach to celebrate the New Moon, offering prayers, with the waves crashing, in the starlight, the whales singing their songs around us, at the ocean.

DAY 5:
The next morning, we will have our last breakfast in Todos Santos, pack up and drive back to the airport at Cabo San Jose. (Please check Getting There,ABOVE, for departure times.) We will say good bye, carrying the whales’ songs and the light of the stars in our hearts. Our experience is that you will leave a very happy person, as the energies in Todos Santos are imbued with a level of vibration which leaves you feeling that way. For a long time, your memories will keep you feeling happy. Cost for the land only portion of the Todos Santos, Whales and Stars Adventure is $1,900.00.

There is an optional extension of the trip to San Ignacio Lagoon, which is quite an expedition to the North. Pleas see below. If you are interested, call Tina: 720-217-1829.

Optional Trip extension to Ignacio lagoon.

After our Todos Santos adventure, we will be offering an additional, optional journey to San Ignacio Lagoon where a majority of the Grey Whale Mothers gather to nurse and raise their babies. Anyone is welcome to join us on this extension of the trip.

We are going up to the lagoon because we want to connect more closely with the whales. At the lagoon, guides will take us out in a panga boat. Since they are carefully trained in how to work with the whales, the guides will show us how friendly the whales are. People often have the wonderful opportunity to touch them, have direct eye contact and experience a healing.

San Ignacio Lagoon is located in the middle of the 500 mile long Pacific coastline of Baja. Being exquisitely remote, it takes a day to get there. We will leave Cabo San Jose and fly to Loreto, spending the night at Posada de las Flores Hotel. The next morning, after breakfast, we will spend the day traveling 170 miles across the amazing Baja Peninsula to San Ignacio and from there another one and a half hours out to the lagoon. Once there, we will be staying in eco-cabins and our meals will be prepared for us, using the freshest seafood and local produce. The guides will take us out for the next 3 days in their “panga” boats for a few hours each day to play with the whales. We will be surrounded by the most pristine sea life environment left in the world. The dunes and beaches hold the precious beings that can only exist in an area of purity and unadulterated support for life. This is an exquisite area, accessible only to those who dare to travel the distance.

The last day, we will drive back to Loreto and fly from there directly to Los Angeles and home again. If you are interested in this fantastic adventure, be sure to call us before you make your plane reservations, so we can help you. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to go with a group that will commune with these amazing whales using a spiritual and healing intention. We hope you will join us. If you do not do it now, when will you take this amazing pilgrimage?

Please take a couple of minutes to watch this video:

We recommend you read this excerpt (below) from the book, “
Whales: Touching the Mystery”
by Doug Thompson, an old surfer boy.

“After awhile we looked up at one another. We all had tears in our eyes. This was a surreal world we had entered—one where two unlikely species reached out to one another. Touching and hugging whales in the wild did not fit into our realities, yet there we were communing with the whales! In turn, the whales seemed aware of just how vulnerable we were, and they were careful not to rock the boat or move us around too much. We had stroked and touched the mom and baby for a good twenty minutes when I realized we had drifted about a mile from The Searcher in this remote desert lagoon. The encounter ended when the mom moved about ten feet away from the skiff and somehow signaled her baby that playtime with the humans was over. The baby then moved next to mom and off they went. While motoring back to The Searcher, everyone began talking at once, yet we could not quite express what we were thinking and feeling. Somehow we had slipped into another dimension and we were not sure what to make of this. No one took photos even though we all had good camera gear with us in the skiff. By the end of our stay that season, everyone on board had a friendly encounter with a whale. And every trip after that, it just got better.”

There are only two ways to live your life. One is as though nothing is a miracle. The other is as though everything is a miracle.

Todos Santos, Whales and Stars

We will stay in the town of Todos Santos, a "Pueblo Majico", located on the powerful ley line of the Tropic of Cancer. There, we will play on the vast and pristine, white sand beaches of the Pacific Ocean, visit artisans' shops, and enjoy the perfumed air in this desert oasis. Each year, in February, there is something magical happening along the Pacific coast of Baja: the grey whales from the oceans gather to birth and nurse their babies in the protective lagoons along the coast. There we can resonate with these amazing beings.
